TAFE Western employs over 2000 people throughout its 24 colleges and Institute offices.  Extensive communication networks are maintained to enable many of TAFE Western's management functions to be decentralised enabling staff to work from all campus locations as they travel to perform their duties

Teaching, administration and maintenance

Full-time and part-time teachers deliver more than 400 courses. These include face-to-face teaching, and various modes of flexible delivery such as e-learning, distance education, block release, part-time and full time delivery.

Video conferencing is used across the Institute to reduce travel for staff to attend meetings and in some instances to teach at multiple locations.

Each campus has support staff to maintain grounds and buildings, for student administration, counselling services and teacher support

TAFE Western employs people for a diverse range of vocations and and also locations that range from remote villages to thriving regional cities like Bathurst, Dubbo and Orange.

Feedback from customers is used to ensure necessary adjustments are made to its products and services and our staff are expected be flexible and responsive flexibility and responsiveness to customer needs.
