TAFE Western Aboriginal Teaching Scholarships

Aboriginal people who would like to become TAFE teachers are eligible to apply for a TAFE Western Aboriginal Teaching Scholarship which provides free tuition at TAFE Western to study Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

This scholarhsip is open to all Aboriginal people whether they have previosuly studied at TAFE Western or not.

To apply for a scholarship at TAFE Western, ensure you check the selection criteria for the scholarship and also the entry requirements for the course.

It is important to attach information that will support your application, especially if it demonstrates that you are a well-rounded person who can contribute to TAFE Western.

Selection Criteria

Applicants must be Aboriginal or Torres Straight Islander and must be able, and qualified, to teach a subject or unit offered by TAFE Western.

You must provide written confirmation of Aboriginality.
