Internet sites which provide a good starting point for TAFE students and an easy introduction to the Internet.
For Students
Western Institute libraries provide a number of services for students across the Institute. The services provided vary from campus to campus, for a detailed explanation of some of the services please contact your local TAFE Library.
Services provided include:
- Computers with up-to-date Office Software, laser and colour printers, scanners
- Free student Internet access
- Pay for use photocopying facilities
- Audio-visual material including video and audio cassette players, video cameras, OHP’s, maps.
- Group study rooms, meeting rooms or individual study desks
- Information literacy sessions including reference, Internet and catalogue workshops
- Video conferencing and Telephone facilities
- Book resources and a comprehensive Inter-Library Loan system.
