Forestry
Forestry is a growth industry in Australia and employs over 100,000 workers. TAFE Western offers courses to match the industry needs and requirements for workers in the industry.
Courses range from Certificate II Forestry Growing and Managment to Certificate II & III Sawmilling and Processing, to the Diploma of Forest and Forest Products.
It is a requirement of forestry courses that students are working in the industry and/or have the ability to be assessed on-site.
TAFE Western has established strong relationships with a number of forestry employers including Highland Pine and Jeld Wen Doors and Windows both based in Oberon.
