Agribusiness
Agribusiness is a major part of the Australian economy. Agriculture affects all areas of the Australian way of life, and agribusiness is the 'business' of managing it.
Courses are offered in agriculture from Certificate II to Diploma level. The Diploma of Agriculture is the key course in agribusiness providing students with the latest knowledge of technology changes and management practices in agriculture.
Skill development includes obtaining management expertise in farm management, business management, staff relations, resource management, enterprise management, best management practice and technology updates.
Opportunities include management and career opportunities in supervisory, organisational, and agricultural production industries. Skills obtained in this course will position students to operate in a range of agribusiness fields, industries and agribusiness. You will be able to implement occupational health and safety procedures, safe working practices and quality assurance practices to industry standards.
The course is offered by flexible delivery or part-time face-to-face. Tailored courses and short courses are also offered according to industry and student needs.
