Distance Learning
ACFI Appraiser Training via distance learning has been tailored for self-paced learning and includes a comprehensive ACFI training manual and CD ROM with tutorials, quizzes, the ACFI resources and video footage of specific ACFI assessments. The student has five weeks to complete the course and submit an assessment. A trainer will be available to students from Monday to Friday to answer all questions and facilitate discussion.

Conducting ACFI Assessments
A one day workshop has been developed by TAFE NSW Western Institute to provide aged care staff with an introduction to the ACFI, teach them how to administer the specific ACFI assessments and how to compile the assessments in the ACFI Appraisal Pack.
