TAFE Western is committed to providing knowledge, skills for life and career pathways for Aboriginal people. TAFE Western:
- is the single largest provider of vocational education and training for Aboriginal People in Australia; and
- is the 2012 Institute of the Year in the TAFE NSW Gili Awards.
We lead the way in:
- Increasing cultural competence through Aboriginal Cultural Education,Aboriginal Mentoring and Aboriginal programs customised to meet specific industry and client needs
These programs are used across the state and nation to assist in recruitment and retention of Aboriginal Staff.
