Continuing Professional Development
Building on your Foundations
If you are a licensed builder, swimming pool builder or contractor there are new Government requirements for continuous professional development (CPD).
It is now compulsory to earn 100 points over 3 years with a minimum of 25 points per year.
To help you, TAFE has a program with 4 hours of training so you can accrue 25 professional development points and meet your minimum requirements for 2006.
The program will deal with aspects of the Home Building Act, contracts, insurance and other relevant topics for people working in the building industry.
